How Atellya Started

Atellya didn’t start with a big business plan.
It started with something much simpler:

We were getting irritated literally  every time we did Pilates.

After class, one of us would scratch our shoulder, the other our legs, and we’d always joke:

“Studio cleans the mats… but do they really get clean-clean?”

Turns out, not really.

And once you notice that feeling, you can’t unnotice it.
We wanted to enjoy Pilates without thinking about who used the mat before us.

So we tried to buy our own.
But every mat we found was either:

• too thick
• too heavy
• impossible to carry
• or… honestly, ugly

Nothing felt right.

One day, over coffee, we said:

“If we can’t find the mat we want…
maybe we just make it ourselves?”

So we did.

We created a super lightweight, easy-to-carry reformer mat that actually looks beautiful — something you don’t mind taking everywhere, something that feels clean because it’s yours.

And because hygiene is more than just the mat, we added grip socks to every set.
Because every Pilates girl knows:
clean mat + grip socks = peace of mind.

And that’s how Atellya was born.
From real problems, real discomfort, and a real desire to make Pilates feel better.

No fancy story.
Just two people who love Pilates, wanted a cleaner experience, and built something they wished existed.
